These two are engaged!

I can’t remember their exact story on how they met but they both had plans to be somewhere else and ended up being in the same place. Totally meeting by chance on a trip to Central America. What I do remember, is that they felt as though they had known each other for their entire life. We only spent an hour together for these photos but they left the impression that they will be together for a lifetime. With life being so uncertain at the moment, I like to think about them, and remember you just don’t know what you are going to find. I’m looking forward!

Saint Thomas Portrait Session

I’m so excited to share these portraits of beautiful Olga. Olga contacted me while she was vacationing on Saint Thomas and had the idea to make some colorful photographs at sunset. She sent me a couple of inspiration images and was looking for this warm glow of the light, I’m so excited that we actually were able to get the light she was looking for.

I just love color. Did you know that I actually took 4 years of color theory when I was in art school? I did. Most of the it was based on Josef Albers way of thinking, that color is relative and responsive.

This entire shoot reminded me of my old life—of being an artist in New York City. It really makes me feel full of life and so happy. Inspired!

I still think a yellow dress is my favorite with the ocean. I just love how happy and sunshine like it makes me feel.
