Congratulations to Becky and Brent!

Becky contacted me for their engagement session while they where vacationing in the Virgin Islands. She wanted some fun photos that would be "great conversation starters" and to show off the beauty of the USVI. She couldn't think of a better backdrop for these photos then the Annaberg Sugar Mill Ruins located on St John.

We started with a few fun beach photos at Maho Bay Beach.

I love how much energy these two brought to the photos. I feel as though you can see how much fun they have together.

Crown Images Best Photos: 2016

Here is a quick review of the best photos from Crown Images for 2016. Let's just say 2016 was an incredible year for weddings in the US Virgin Islands. I met so many wonderful people and constantly felt overwhelmed with the beauty of St. Thomas and St. John. I know there are about 30 other photos that should be in this post, so here are just a few of my favorite wedding photos and other lovely gems from last year.... 

Engagement Photos: Saint Thomas

Once in a while I get to hear a love story that gives me chills. That’s how it was when Lynn and Frank told me their love story while I took their engagement photos at Limetree Beach. 

This gorgeous couple met in the states and reside in New York City. They went to the same high school… in China. Not only did they go to the same high school in a country literally on the other side of the world, but they also graduated in the same graduating class! They even have mutual friends from the high school! It’s just amazing that they were so close together during a younger age, but it took them both travelling to a distant land to finally meet one another and fall in love. It seems that fate wants them together no matter what. 

Lynn and Frank were traveling on a cruise ship through the Caribbean celebrating their upcoming nuptials when they landed in St. Thomas. I met them at one of my favorite spots to photograph, Limetree Beach at Bluebeard’s Beach Club. They got right off the ship and came straight to the beach, so they could capture my favorite light for the tropical water and white sands—the morning light.

Along with the amazing story, they’re an amazing couple. I’m thrilled to have gotten the chance to photograph them. Throughout the post, you’ll find some of my favorite shots from their session.
