Wedding Proposal: Darian and Tamika

I’m so excited to share with you Darian and Tamika’s engagement and proposal photographs.

Darian loves surprises, like really loves them. He told Tamika that he was taking her on vacation and didn’t tell her where—I can’t even imagine doing this. Tamika had to pack for everything or anything. When they were on the flight he told her where they were going, Saint Thomas!!! He also told her that he had arranged a photo session at sunset on Lindquist Beach.

What he didn’t tell her was that after the photo session he had arranged a private dinner and was going to ask her to be his wife. You have to see how truly romantic this day was:

Everything was perfect including the sky. They had such a beautiful sunset!

St. Thomas Babymoon Photo Session

Melissa might love photography just as much as I do. She always shows up with the best photo ideas and I feel like I’m watching Pinterest come to life.

For their babymoon she came up with this fun photo session idea to announce to their family that they were expecting. I adore how simple and subtle the sunhat is with the message “baby on board”. Here are a handful of my favorite images:

Engagement Photography Virgin Islands: Carmen and Justin

Carmen and Justin, I don’t know how you do it! You both make life so magical.

So, I’m sitting on the ferry to meet up with these two and it is raining, the kinda rain that you only see in the Caribbean and it feels like it will not stop. I get to Peace Hill and the rain has stopped, you can see it in our first photo where it makes a rainbow and is magical when it’s in the distance.

Justin reached out to me with his proposal plan. He wanted to propose on Valentine’s Day, just the two of them, and meet up for photos the next day for an engagement session.

I’m not sure if you can tell from the photos but these two have been friends for a long time. Can you imagine, your future wife is actually a close friend, I LOVE their story SO much!

We decided to hike down to Denis Beach to watch the sunset and for a few more photos. It was stunning!!!! We saw a few hermit crabs and had the beach to ourselves.
