St Thomas Wedding: Catholic Ceremony

Congratulations to Andrea and CJ!!!!

Their lovely Saint Thomas wedding took place at the beautiful Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral.  It was a elegant traditional catholic ceremony. The church has been under restoration for a few years and it was looking extra stunning on their wedding day. This has to be one of the prettiest churches on St. Thomas. 

This was an extra special location for Andrea and CJ to exchange their wedding vows because the bride’s parents where also married in this church. 

After the ceremony we all headed up the mountain to St Peter’s Great House for the cocktail hour and the wedding reception. We walked through the lush & colorful botanical garden for a few photos of just the bride and groom and later went to the overlook to watch the sun set. The Great House has a great view of Magens Bay and the British Virgin Islands.

The Great House also provides a large ballroom that is air-conditioned that is absolutely perfect for a wedding reception within the botanical gardens. We had a ton of fun celebrating by cutting the wedding cake and dancing. They even tossed the wedding bouquet and the garter. Everything was just so picture perfect!

St Thomas Wedding Photos: Sand Dollar Villa

Congratulations to Ariel and Daniel!!!

Their beautiful Saint Thomas wedding took place at the Sand Dollar Estate Villa which is ideally located out on Peterborg point. We started off photography of the big day with a few detail photos of everyone getting ready for the wedding. Ariel’s father, who is also a judge, performed the wedding ceremony himself. Which, I was told is a bit of a family tradition, as Ariel’s two other sisters also had their father presiding over their ceremonies too. The ceremony took place on the perfect white sand private beach right below the villa which overlooks the pristine turquoise waters of Magen’s Bay shimmering in the background. There was a little bit of rain during the ceremony, but I’m not sure if anyone noticed, since there were so many tears of joy flowing from friends and family. After the wedding, we headed over to the historical St Peter Great House for the reception at the Blue Orchid Restaurant. Here are few of my favorite photos...

"I DO" with an Island View

Erin and Jesse's St Thomas wedding couldn't have been more perfect! I'm in love with Erin's dress and how the flowers complemented Jesse's suit so well. I met with the ladies at their villa on the east side of St Thomas to get a few photos of them getting ready. My favorite moment was when Erin stepped into her wedding dress... there were many "happy" tears.

We then headed over to St Peter's Greathouse where Jesse and Erin did the "first look" with the perfect backdrop. They exchanged their wedding vows in front of about 60 of their closest family and friends with one of St Thomas's best overlooks of Magen's Bay (which is just breathtaking.)
