These two just sparkle and make the world more beautiful. They really are such a perfect fit and their wedding was a blast. The wedding ceremony was held at Secret Harbour Beach Resort and the reception Sunset Grille. Here are a few of my favorite photographs from their celebration:

Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Potteiger!!!!!

This has to be one of the happiest groups I have had the pleasure of spending the day with. I know it’s taboo to say the R word at a wedding but I have to say it. It rained at their wedding and everyone was still smiling and had an amazing time. I’m not making this up at all, it was a wedding in the rain (maybe a light misting the moment during the vows) and the sunshine did make an appearance right after they had their first kiss. You just can’t make this stuff up, it was all magic!!!

The first look never ever gets old—I just love seeing the groom’s face as the bride enters the room.

A groomsman said the rain made everything shine, he was right!

The bride’s sister is amazing! She sang and played the guitar for the bride and groom’s first dance and their parent dances. It was really special.

St. Thomas Engagement Photos: Lindquist Beach

Lindquist Beach on St. Thomas is one of my favorite beaches in the Caribbean. I get to do St. Thomas weddings here all the time. Recently, I got to do an engagement session with such an adorable couple! 

Thomas and Amber got engaged while aboard their ship in Amber Cove in the Dominican Republic. Thomas' mother decided to surprise Amber with an engagement photo shoot when they were at port in St. Thomas. She also provided some really cute props for the shoot--ideas she got off Pinterest.

It was a dreary and rainy day on Lindquist Beach, but these guys didn't mind. They seized the day and made it work for them. These pictures prove that you really can see the beauty in each day, no matter what's going on. 

The love that Amber and Thomas have for one another shone through the gray clouds that day to make it a much brighter day on the beach for their engagement. A few dark clouds didn’t damper this couple’s day, the high level of excitement, love, and humor about their upcoming nuptials easily lit up the entire beach.
